Cearbhall,

Don't know if you are involved in the NVDA project management at all but a suggestion if I may.

In Jaws there is a keystroke Jaws key plus H think it is which allows us to get a list of keystrokes for whatever application that we're in.

Now do you think that it may be a good idea for similar in NVDA.

By the way just to clarify I'm only using NVDA temporarily 'til I get Jaws retrieved from AWOL, LOL!
these responses from you are great just to get me through and even, who knows, eventually get in to the screen reader more and more.

By the way am glad I had the sense to have NVDA installed along with Jaws just in case one or the other disappeared on me as obviously Jaws did.

Best,

Tony Sweeney.

Tony,

Try NVDA + 1 on the number row on the main keyboard. This will allow you test out keys in the context of the open program. It does not list them all at once, as I think you are hoping for. However, you will be able to find out what every key does and eliminate those that do nothing.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

All the best,

Cearbhall
