Not sure what you mean 'cause certainly in my case we got no notice at
all that the email address we were trying to create was taken and I
doubt if it was anyway as it was kind of different but not at all
suspicious I would venture to suggest but it did have the name 'news' in
the name so that may have raised the tentacles of Google!
I thought that they may have thought it being used commercially which of
course it was and is not at all.
As I wrote last night I'm surprised that they allow a commercial
business use a gMail account and I doubt they pay for it, strange.

I was trying to create a gMail account for my Irish blind news group and
Google didn't allow that after all the work that we had put in to it.
We were told after an appeal that all's well again (just to paraphrase)
but it was not.
The other day I came across a company using gMail address so where does
one go from there, the mind certainly boggles that's for sure.

I have been trying to setup a gmail account for a friend but have been
unable to do so.
I fill in all the details and verify the account using a code that I get by
text and then I am told that the account has been suspended.
I have tried it a number of times now with the same result using Internet
explorer and firefox.
Does anyone know why this could be?
