Have you ever used Skype Talker?
I find Skype five a little tricky at getting around. Just wondering would it
help?

In this lesson we cover how to add a contact to skype 5 the latest version
of skype.
1. Open up skype and if you have those all important scripts installed then
use keys, "control + 1" to jump over to your list of available contacts.
2. Use the up and down arrows to arrow through the list of contacts you may
have but what if you have none, here is where we will add a new contact.
3. While in the contacts list, tab key once to the "add new contact" button
and press the spacebar.
4. After hitting the spacebar on the add a contact link, you will be
presented with a form to fill out containing all of the details about the
new contact you wish to add as follows;
*. Email address,
*. The prefix of "353" which indicates that you live in Ireland, use the
spacebar to activate this if you wish to change over to another prefix
international code. Use up or down arrows to choose one.
*. Phone number to be filled in.
*. Full name to be filled in.
*. Skype name to be filled in,
*. Friend finder link, press spacebar and a list of anyone you know with
the skype name you provided or indeed the full name etc will be given you in
a list. Choose the person you think is the new contact you want to add into
your contacts and you will be prompted for a confirmation request message to
be sent. You can type in a short message here to let the person you are
contacting know who you are. If they are comfortable with your request then
they will complete the "add to contacts" formalities.
