Hi All,

A short tutorial on using the excellent anti-malware software called "Malwarebytes". It can be downloaded free for home use at the below link. I am going to run through the steps of using Malwarebytes to perform a full and thorough scan of your PC/Laptop for any malicious items that may be hiding out on there.

First step is to download and install the software package using the following link;

http://ninite.com/malwarebytes/ninite.exe

Notes: When you use the link above the software will be automatically installed for you so it makes the process of putting it onto your computer that much easier. Just remember that when the download begins you may be asked by your windows system if you wish to "Run" the item. You will of course tab over to "Run" and press the spacebar and for many of those using Windows XP you may be asked a second time if you wish to "Run" this software on your computer, again answering by tabbing over to "Run" and pressing spacebar. One final thing about the download process, you will know when the download has completed and the software has been installed if you press the "Tab key" around the screen from time to time to see if there is a Close button otherwise there will only be a cancel button available. If there is a close button then press the spacebar on it to complete the download and installation process. Now Malwarebytes has been installed on your computer.
