Hello,
It was announced yesterday, that VFO, the company that own FreedomScientific
(JAWS), and Optelec (makers of braille displays and magnification software
products), has now bought AISquared (makers of AISquared magnification software
products and purchasers of WindowEyes a year or two ago). This means that both
JAWS and WindowEyes, having been regarded often as competing and rival
screen-readers, are now owned by the same company. For the moment, ongoing
development of all all of products will continue.
