[vip_students] audacity toolbars

hello folks.
does anyone use audacity. if so can you tell me how to get to the tool bars at
the top of the screen. i am trying to adjust the input volume control. i
normally do alt first then control and tab to move up and down the toolbars but
this is not working any help appreciated. or any other ways to access toolbars
