As far as I know, it does then appear as starred, black dots, whatever. You might try it somewhere and see. Some of the mixed-case password types they recommend are difficult to remember, anyway.

is there a way that I can get jaws to echo passwords, getting out of practice using a full size keyboard can't seem to enter a password correctly.
