Tools _> Options -> it would have been. But I've gone in there myself now on my Win7 and version 12. I needed to set up the player (probably because there was an update recently?) I made it the default music player. Now, we'll have to ponder on that one for a while, until a solution appears.

Thanks for that very useful info.  I'll give FB my mobile number and
hopefully no more captchas.  I'd heard of WebVisum, but Rumola is new
to me.

But there's no Preferences option in the Tools menu of my version
(12.0.7601.18150) of WMP.
