If you started out in the UK App Store, your position may be different to those
of us who first registered in the Republic of Ireland iTunes Store. A lot of
people, not just in the UK and Ireland, fully-sighted also, have problems
trying to do transactions in (Say) the USA) but now live in (Say) Canada; so
you’re lucky if you don’t.
We had a similar discussion in relation to when the iPlayer Radio was made
‘global’ in July. Had it been possible for everybody to have access to BBC
iPlayer (radio) there would have been no need for the specific international
release, made available in different countries’ App Stores where it previously
had not been. I had previously tried to download the iPlayer from the UK App
Store, as at the time it wasn’t available in the Ireland App Store; but was
told ‘it seems you don’t have an account in the iTunes UK store’ or words to
that effect, and to gett it from the Irish App Store. Not all countries are
treated equally in iTunes-land.
Happy downloading!

not true! all I did was buy a voucher for something like 15 Euro or what ever
the minimum was and set up my account. that is about three years ago and I have
never made another purchase have a voucher but I have been in the position of
being able to download free apps not available in the UK App Store.

You can indeed move between the Irish App Store and the UK App Store; but you
need to have set up two iTunes accounts/credit card addresses, one for each
country.

hi all
with reference to the email below I would like to make two points.
firstly I have no problem moving from the UK App Store to the Ireland app
store.
I use voice over.
there is a very good app which I can happily use when in Ireland called
MoveIt and this will show me the nearest bus stops to me and what bus numbers
stop at those stops. it will also give me information about how long I have to
wait for the next bus. in addition it will give me information about The
nearest train station to me. this application will also permit me to plan a
route.
