Thanks tony for those words of encouragement and I am determind to conquer
this I phone. My friend got one a year ago and it took him a while to get
the hang of it but he says now it's the best thing and wouldn't be without
it.

Perhaps for another thread here but one reservation I would have about
getting an iPhone is just exactly as you say.
I'm wondering and have wondered how folk cope with the keyboard on such
a phone or what are the work arounds that folk find work well for them
if so?

Yes considering that I knew absolutely nothing about the I phone this time
last month think I've come on leaps and bounds. I'm struggling with the
keyboard like putting numbers or texts in manually it goes so quick and by
the time I've lifted my finger to put a letter in it has moved on to the
