Good one, Jackie!

Should we credit you? No, on reflection from what you write, it's costly!

Thanks.

Tony.

  hey Tony

you just need the mobile phone, all networks have access to the internet,
however, if example you have a vodafone phone but you have changed to 02 or
meteor then you may need to change the settings to the particular network as
the default settings will be vodafone live, your local phone shop should be
able to do this wee job. no blue tooth needed just allot of credit!

    Hi Jackie Paddy,
    & All,

I am not on Vodafone but am curious to know, as it may be also helpful to
some novices on the list too
and might be useful info in downloading from other networks also!

Assuming you have some form of internet on your mobile is however your ring
tones for downloading done independently using your mobile or must you be
connected via bluetooth or otherwise to your computer?

    All the best,

    Tony Sweeney.

      Hey All

I just thought I'd put this little tutorial on the list on how to
download ring tones from vodafone live.
      1. hold down 0 you will here connecting via vodafone live.
      2. then go down to ringtones, press the select button this is the
joystick in the center of the phone. you get a choice here of realtones these
are a
fiver, voicetones these are also a fiver and polytones these are three
euro.
      3. once you select either realtones, voicetones or polytones, just
browse through the tones and the various categories, I just go to all
categories and
you get to see all the list example, TV/movies, pop, eightys and rock
and so on, you can also search for a tone.
      4. once you find the tone you are looking for press the select button.
a thing comes up saying join some thing and get ring tones for ?1.33 but don't
select this one, arrow to you hear buy one polyphonic ringtone for ?3.00
again press the select button, this also goes for if you want to get real or
voice
tones, go to you hear buy one real or voice tone for ?5
      5. it will then say processing order, once you hear sound recorder press
key1 the first option is save press key1 again and your tone will be saved into
gallery. your credit will be damaged but you will have a ring tone. one
other little point you cant listen to the tone before you buy it. hope this
has been of some help to people.

      yours Jackie
