Hi Susan,
Yes, the NCBI are very good to me. They give me a new PC every 4 or 5
years. And I can apply for an Assistive Technology Grant to upgrade
to the latest version of JAWS every few years. Takes a while to go
through, though.
Don't think they can help you if you're resident in NI. But I'm sure
Paul Traynor <support@xxxxxxx> will give you email assistance,
obliging chap that he is.
As for your version of JAWS 10, is it on DVD, or did it come
pre-installed on your old computer? If the former, simply stick the
DVD in your new computer and install. You'll need sighted assistance
to type in the 25 character product key on the back cover of the DVD.
If the latter, things get a little complicated... Let me know your
situation so I can advise you on your next step.
