Hi Susan,

OCR stands for optical character recognition. In other words, it
scans an image or photo of text and tries to convert it back into text
so NVDA can read it aloud.

Some programs like your anti-virus and network connection are always
running in the background. Rather than have them clogging up the
Taskbar, Windows groups them in the Systray. Systray List gives you
easy access to the items in the Systray. And it can also list all the
apps on the Taskbar. Similar to JAWS Ins+F11 and Ins+F10.

Virtual Revisions is similar to JAWS Virtualise Current Window
(Ins+Alt+W). It makes a "flattened copy" of the text on screen,
making it easier to navigate. Also handy for selecting and copying
text of pop-ups and error messages.

HTH!

John
