Hi Susan there are 2 tool bars there that I would remove from Control Panel Add/remove Programmes. One is the DVD Video soft tool bar and the final one on your list. The final one NCH tool bar is the one that would have been installed when you installed the DVD burning software. Take care if you are deinstalling from Control Panel yourself. You do not want to remove the wrong thing. If you did then some programmes might not work for you. -original message- Subject: [vip_students] Re: tool bars From: "Susan Curry" <SusanCurry@xxxxxxx> Date: 18/08/2011 3:48 pm hi eleanor, here is a list of the tool bars that are check, menu bar checked, servic bar checked, command bar checked, statis bar checked, dvd video soft tb tool bar checked. conjuet engine checked. n c h n tool bar checked. the last thing on the list says block the tool bar, l. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eleanor Burke" <eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, August 18, 2011 3:20 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: tool bars I would know from the list but the title of the programme will include the wort Tool bar. I always remove them if I accidentally install them. That said in the case of you tube downloader I found I could not use it without the Tool Bar. -original message- Subject: [vip_students] Re: tool bars From: "\(NCBI\) Paul Traynor" <paul.traynor@xxxxxxx> Date: 18/08/2011 11:35 am Hi Susan, Toolbars contain different options such as for example in Microsoft Word it might contain buttons for saving a document, a button for adding bulleted lists to a file or basically contain buttons for performing a range of different tasks. Toolbars can be program dependant in that a toolbar in one application would be different in another application and reflect only items that this program can perform. In Internet Explorer for instance on a toolbar you might find a search box where you can type in words you wish to search for on the internet, buttons that move you back and forth through web pages, pull up your email program and help you add an attachment to an email etc. Toolbars are just ways for mostly sighted persons to do something quickly by clicking the mouse on a button and it's done. Are you having any issues or wish to do something using a toolbar Susan?.
