Hi Susan
This message comes up when you've been using the CD writing wizard that comes with Windows XP 
To get rid of these temporary files, do the following:
1.  Press windows and E to go to windows explorer
2.  Press the tab key to get to the list view.
3.  Press the down arrow key until you come to your CD drive.
4. Press the alt key and down arrow to "delete temporary files" and press enter. 5. You will be asked if you want to delete the files and you can tab to the yes button and press enter.

Hi Folks,
Some times when I turn on my computer this strange message comes up, you have files waiting to be written to the cd, to view these files click the balloon. it doesn't happen every time I turn the computer on, maybe every other time. 

Can any one tell me what this means please?
