[vip_students] volume mixer won't remember application settings

Hi Again,
IE plays music on Youtube at 100%. So I open the Volume Mixer (press
WinKey+R and type sndvol) and tab around until I reach the slider for
IE. I press Page Down to lower the volume to 20% and then press Up
Arrow 5 times to nudge it back up to 25%. Wonderful. Except it
doesn't remember the setting. Next time I open Volume Mixer, I have
to do it all over again. Any suggestions appreciated.
