The Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility at the University St
Andrews/SDRC is looking to recruit at least one
Senior Researcher (PostDoc or equivalent)
Our research in the field of Sustainable Value attracts an increasing
number of research projects. It is for this reason that we are
looking to recruit new colleagues. At this stage we are looking for
additional researchers to be based in the United Kingdom.
Our primary activity is to conduct research projects in the field of
Sustainable Value
(<http://www.SustainableValue.com>http://www.SustainableValue.com)
and related fields (Corporate Sustainability Management, Corporate
Social Responsibility, Sustainable Finance, etc). On a case by case
basis we also engage with companies in a research-driven consulting
relationship.
In the near future we will continue to conduct more Sustainable Value
calculations, we will develop the Sustainable Value concept further
and we will continue our dissemination activities. Our activities are
backed up by ongoing or starting research projects. We are looking
for at least one senior researcher for these and future projects.
Ideally your background is in economics, business studies or
management, or environmental sciences with an in-depth knowledge of
management. We are looking for colleagues that are passionate about
research and are looking for an opportunity to further their research
profile. Applicants will be entrepreneurially thinking while giving a
high priority to the academic quality of their research. Ideally,
your mother tongue will be English or German with very good knowledge
of the other language. This particular language requirement is due to
some research projects we are currently conducting that require
German language skills.

While we expect that most candidates for the senior position will
have successfully completed a PhD we of course favour substance over
form and look forward to applications with a different but equivalent
career background.
You will be based either in St Andrews or in the Highlands at least
in the first instance. These positions will remain open until filled.
