[wdmaudiodev] External clock?

OK, stupid question (there are no smart questions): what's the correct
way to map multiple clock source (internal, S/PDIF, word clock)
selection into properties?
Now that we've moved to freelists I suppose I could search the archives
too, but I've been following the list for a while, and I don't rightly
recall hearing this question.
DEVICE_SPECIFIC properties seem too specific to a particular driver
they're not proper name-value pairs or anything. Guess I'll define my
own property nodes. If I can. Unless someone else has published generic
standards. Hmmm.
