That is expected if your driver doesn't expose a S/PDIF-ized AC-3 data range.

Is your data intersection handler getting called?


No, at this point nothing whatsoever in my driver is getting called. Though I 
haven't implemented the data intersection handler
(it returns STATUS_NOT_IMPLEMENTED), it has a log entry which does not show up 
in DebugView.



Try a PCM .wav file with 6 or 8 channels.
