Hello Eugene,

I contacted you some months ago to ask you for basically the same question
(like my previous post) concerning multichannel transport with your VAC. But
you did not really replied to my questions, and I've never been able to get
5.1 signal from your VAC under win7 for example.

I'm sorry to say you that we built our VAC without using any part of yours,
we basically used the Audio Driver Template from the Microsoft DDK, where
also the inf file are coming from (I guess you took your inf file from there
too).

Until now I've considered V.A.C. as generic acronym for "Virtual Audio
Cable", Like EQ is for Equalizer. That's why I did not think about possible
problem for you. Since I did not do this piece of software to cause problem
but to let me do other kind of application endowed with virtual i/o, I can
consider changing the name of my VAC... what do you think about VAIO for
"Virtual Audio i/O" ?... don't tell it to Sony :-)

If you have other personal request or remark, I invite you to contact me in
private.

Vincent Burel

Hello Vincent,

> Recently I made a VAC (virtual audio cable)

There already is the well-known "Virtual Audio Cable" product. You
definitely know it because you used it and asked me about its features
and some Windows Audio Engine specialities.

Moreover, you got the .inf file from Virtual Audio Cable package,
modified them slightly and included into your product package.

It is at least very impolite behavior to name your product using a
well-known product name and copy this product parts into your one. At
most, it is a plagiarism and you may become a lawsuit's object.

It is better to name your product uniquely to avoid collisions with
other ones and not to use parts from these products.

Regards,
Eugene
