SYSVAD driver has not been neither validated nor certified.

You're aware that this is a SAMPLE, right?

Strictly speaking, SYSVAD (and MSVAD too) are not "just for instance"
samples but samples of standardized Windows interfaces. It means
they must either fully conform all interface requirements or
explicitly mention that some requirements were not observed.

Moreover, MS docs related to Kernel Streaming are quite incomplete so
a driver developer definitely cannot create a correct driver just
learning the docs. In such situation, MS should pay more attention
either to their docs or their samples (and even better, to both of
them).

But we all know that some WHQL-certified MS audio drivers don't pass all
HCK/WLK/HLK tests. :)
