Dear all.

I am a new to the kernel streaming, so I would like to ask the following.

There is a non-audio device (modem). There is a necessity to stream an audio
inside the kernel without affect on the other audio streams. For example, from
system microphone -> into sound card -> into splitter -> into modem driver; and
back from modem driver -> into kmixer -> into sound card -> into system
speakers.

What is a right way to do that? Is it necessary to make a second virtual audio
driver? Or is it possible to connect directly to kmixer and splitter?

Thanks, Stanislav Petrenko.
