chipsets. I
expect a card to arrive tomorrow and will try it with the Portaudio code.

Once you are ready to try portaudio, please drop me an email as the code
is _hugely_ preliminary, and in flux. So i might have to help a little.
You need to get the svn from my branch, not the main one.
What kind of performance do you get with USB? ASIO equivalent, better?
In fact yes, im quite surprised from the low latency i get with the UAA,
i cant quote the exact numbers (cause i didnt do hardware/loopback tests),
but its "very" playable.
