David,
Your ThreadProc code - I cannot verify this from the latest Vista SDK docs, nor from the appalling SDK example, but perhaps the event should be manual reset ? - with the handler calling ResetEvent() after processing the buffer? Otherwise I cannot see how the audio engine keeps sync with the user processing side. Does anyone else know?
BTW can I build PortAsio with your WASAPI code using the standard 1.9 release, or do I need to get the entire tree from SVN?

expect a card to arrive tomorrow and will try it with the Portaudio code.

You need to get the svn from my branch, not the main one.


What kind of performance do you get with USB? ASIO equivalent, better?


In fact yes, im quite surprised from the low latency i get with the UAA,
i cant quote the exact numbers (cause i didnt do hardware/loopback tests),
but its "very" playable.
