[audacity4blind] New to the List and to Audacity

Hello
My name is Michelle and I'm a new Audacity user living in Canada. I'm really
enjoying the program but I have a couple of questions.
Can anyone suggest a good place to start when it comes to learning about
editing? I've read the help manuals and so on but I'm having some difficulty
with things I really probably shouldn't be and it's all very new to me. My
goal is to put some of the little things I recorded on my cassette tapes
onto computer so that I can keep them. They are things like my Grandparent's
voices and so on so I really do want this to happen. It's next year's
Christmas gift for my sister.
Any help would be very much appreciated. LOL, I'm feeling like the one who
doesn't know much here so it's a wonderful thing to have this list to learn.
