I suspect you have not selected the track. Pressing Enter when focus is on
a track will toggle selection on and off. If the track is not selected
when
you paste, the material will be placed on a fresh track. That is probably
why you are hearing both lots of material at once - both tracks are
playing.

Hi there listers. It is my first time mailing this list. I want to place a
large amount of audio that I have copied to the clipboard at the end of the
track. However, when I go to the end of the track and paste the audio, it
paists it at the beginning and then the audio place in conjunction with
