Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion. I followed all the steps that you
suggested. So there is a bit of music at the beginning and then I have
to start singing. So I press Shift plus R to start a new recording,
but when I press space to play the karaoke track, the recording stops.
Could you tell me what am I doing wrong?

Open the karaoke track in audacity. Make sure you have earphones
on and set your preferred microphone. Go to the transport menu
by pressing Alt+N, go into the transport submenu and make sure
overdub is on. The final step is to record a new track by
pressing shift+R and save the file. Hope it helps!
