I am glad that your mother is progressive enough to discuss it with you. I really have a hard time understanding why it is so difficult for parents to talk to their children about sex. Honestly, if they ask why we sneeze does that cause any awkwardness? It's just another topic that we all need to learn about and we will all learn about it whether parents like it or not.
