Pat, This response may just muddy the waters but I would think the answer depends on the program being used. I use Kurzweil to both scan and validate for instance and never hear the words "page break but Kurzweil enters its own page number as well as showing the print page number, and I learned some time ago that the "page number" represents the page break. Hello, Does a validated document need both page breaks and page numbers? Avalidator not on either Bookshare list has asked. It appears his document iswell defined with page numbers but page breaks are not being heard by his screen reader. If anyone can help with this, I will send the response to the inquirer. Thanks.
