Hi, Cindy. You're right. It's tough to decide which list to scan from. In
theory, my heart wants to replace all of the fair and good quality books. My
mind, and pocketbook, have something quite different to say. The dollar sign
ends up calling the shots for me most of the time. I tend to lean toward the
wish list mostly because it's easier to find books from that list, and they
don't cost as much. Getting print copies of many of the wish list books is
like grabbing low-hanging fruit from an apple tree. A lot of the fair
quality books are older books or textbooks, and they aren't as easy to come
by without spending some serious cash. I guess this sounds cheap, but if I
can't find it on Paperback Swap or at my local library, I probably won't be
scanning it. I have to be dedicated to the topic of a book with every fiber
of my being before I'll buy it brand-new.
