It doesn't sound cheap at all. I'm surprised, and am
sure that members are grateful, that so many of you do
buy books. I'm the cheap one--I only validate books or
read books that I can get from my libraries--or,
rarely, if the cost is low enough, from used-book
stores. I think maybe it's a generational
thing--and/or I haven't brought up my adult daughters
properly. Though when they were young we always went
to the library, they buy current books, e.g. the Harry
Potter and others, rather than wait for them at the
library. I do confess, though, that for my
granddaughter I'd rather spend the money and get her a
new book than get he same one used.
