Nancy, The end of line hyphens are in the print book. It's a convention that some people use when a word won't fit at the end of the current line. The word processor puts the letters that will fit on the current line plus a hyphen to indicate that the word is a partial word, then continues the word on the next line, even if the next line is at the top of the next page. If you happen to use MS Word, it isn't set to do this automatically, but you can enable automatic hyphenation by opening the Tools menu, the Language submenu, and the Hyphenation dialog box, then checking the box labeled Automatically Hyphenate Document. I mean, are you validating with it or scanning with it? Removal of end of line hyphens is a autocorrect feature in k1000. E.
