I get my synopses from the book jacket of the book. I've never copied one from a Web site, but it seems the last time this was discussed, it was recommended if you did do that to state where the synopsis came from. Take care. Just submitted my first validation. As an afterthought, I have a question. The scanned book didn't come with a supplied long synopsis. Finding it valuable myself when browsing the BookShare collection, I got one off the net from Amazon (I recall reading sometime back that BookShare was using Amazon book descriptions). Did I commit a copyright booboo, or is my going to Amazon, copying the description there, and then entering it in the long synopses box the approach you more experienced validators follow?
