Hi, Nancy. Both Dan Beaver and Cindy have the same version of FineReader as you. Yes, you can scan 2 pages at once. That setting is something you set up in your OCR program. I know that both FineReader and Omnipage can do that. I think they call it multipage mode. It sounds like this page manager thing is part of the software that was bundled with your scanner. What are you doing to actually scan a page? What should be happening is that you choose the option to scan from inside your scanning program and not by pressing a button on your scanner. If you press a physical button on your scanner, it will bring up its own software. So you would open FineReader or Omnipage, lay your book on the scanner, and then use your keyboard to find the option to start scanning. I don't know if I'm helping or confusing you. I will try to find a demo of Omnipage so I can hear what you're hearing. Maybe that will help.
