Hi all,

This really should be taken over to Bookshare Discuss, but the whole point of this discussion and the articles that were posted is that a machine that is designed for the general public shouldn't have to be a kluge. You shouldn't have to turn the speech off to go forward and then turn it on again to continue reading. That's a kluge. It should work seamlessly. If you once turn on the speech it should work in all instances for all commands and all operations. This Kluge is unacceptable, period!

I had the opportunity to use a Kindle to read an audio book. I could only stop it and start it. I couldn't navigate within the book I couldn't really switch to another book. Admittedly, I had about thirty minutes of training, but this shouldn't have to be like this.
