I would insist your sister provide a dog crate the next time the dog
visits. They are inexpensive and easily purchased from lots of places. I
have lived with a chewer and have several missmatched slippers and pillows
with holes in them as a result. The humans in the dog/human house won out
here. Also often a multitude of toys (such as six or so) in a room can
distract from chewing. How old a dog?
