Hi Jana, Many of the controls in the two spelling related dialogues in K1000 do have the same mnemonics, such as alt x to read context, alt r to replace, alt l to ignore all, etc. But the messed up word never actually gets focus in the regular spell checker. So if you're in there, k1k tells you the misspelled word is whatever it is and then says there are no suggested replacements, or the suggested replacement is xxx if there is a suggested replacement. Focus is on the suggested replacement. So if you did a control l, what would be spelled would be the suggested replacement, if any. The alt s is a separate command which will spell the erroneous word. In ranked spelling, focus is on the list of what k1k thinks are errors. So the typical command to spell the currently focused word, control l, does what you'd expect, i.e. spells the currently focused word in the list of errors. there is no place to tab to which spells the currently focused misspelling, hence, no alt s, as found in the regular spell checker. I suppose they could add one. If enough people thought they should, maybe they would. but since you can focus on the errors in ranked spelling and use control l to spell the selected word, I'm not sure why you'd want another button in that dialogue.
