Hi Jana,
Yes the tech support at Plustec is horrible.
The scanner is nice though.
I agree with MOnica that it is faster and easier to use.
But I have tried and can't get past the gatekeeper George who is
disrespectful and doesn't seem to know his job.
He hung up on me the last time I tried to get help and he is very
intimadating toward women and rude about adaptive equipment.
I had an epson prefection 4180 for the past few years and it did well.
I have also seen the 4190 works well with K1000.
The plustech is a great scanner as long as it doesn't have a problem with it.
Plustech doesn't stand behind their product unfortunately.
I hope you get a wonderful scanner.
and get back to scanning quickly.
You always do such a good job with your submitions.
