Sorry, I know scanners were discussed recently, but I didn't pay attention, and I can't find a list archive. If there is one, please point me to it. I recently bought a new PC, 64-bit, Windows 7. Dumb, huh? I have a perfectly good Epson 1650 scanner, but Epson doesn't have a 64-bit driver. They want to make me buy a new scanner. There is 3rd-party software that will drive my scanner in Windows7, but, when I start Kurzweil and hit "scan", it starts the 3rd party software, and nothing happens. I think K1000 and Vuescan don't talk to each other. If anyone knows how to make my current scanner work with my new machine, please share. If anyone knows a decent scanner that works with Windows7, please share. I don't need anything fancy.
