Hello Monica,

Two of the most useful table reading commands are
CTRL+ALT+arrow
and
WindowsKey+arrow

The first one jumps from row to row and reads the current column when used with up/down. The second reads an entire row when using up and down arrows.

There are ways to read an entire column with a single keystroke, or read from the current position to the end of the table, reading only that column. You can look these and lots of other helpful navigational hints up in the help.

In JAWS 7 navigate the help structure by the following:
Using the Internet with JAWS
Navigating web pages
Tables.

HTH,
Jake

Jake, thanks for making time to explain things so well. At the risk of asking a stupid question, how do you navigate by title? I know you use JAWS, and I do too. I'm guessing that you use one of its hotkeys, and maybe that would speed up navigating through the list.
