Hi, Monica, when I proofread the working copy of the file it's located in
the books subfolder f the Kurzweil folder in My Documents. When I enter the
file to read it, Microsoft Office Word 2003 opens up and when I save changes
it is as an rtf file. I found a nifty way of stripping a header without
having to delete it letter by letter as I did a couple of days ago. I found
out that when I used the shift and control keys with my left hand and the
right arrow using my right hand, I only needed to hit the delete key once if
the whole header was selected. This definitely works better for me than
deleting it letter by letter. Regards, Kim.

Hi Kim. I think this is a case where you'll need to strip the story names
manually. You may be able to remove the author names all at once, but you'll
still need to check each page to make sure the page number is present. What
software do you use for proofreading? I need to give you directions that
will make sense and that work with your software.
