Hi Kim!
Stripping headers letter by letter would be mighty tedious, indeed. Congratulations for experimenting and glad the selecting worked. Experimenting is a good way to learn sometimes. Just don't save if you have second thoughts about something you are doing ever. In that case, just close Word, decline its offer to save your changes and reopen it and then load the file and find where you were working and continue your work. There have been times when I wish I had thought to not save too hastily in my computing life, not just while proofreading.

Oh Kim! I had no idea you were deleting letter by letter. No wonder you were dreading working on headers. I didn't think to ask you about that. I'm so glad you've learned how to select the entire line. I'd go nuts if I had to delete things by letter.
