Hi Bob,

For what it's worth, I still change em dashes to two hyphens too.  I do it
because I primarily read using Kurzweil, and it doesn't put in pauses when
em dashes are used, as it should, but does when double hyphens are used. 

Changing the em dashes to double hyphens harms nothing as eventually the
tools do the same thing.

Well, I have a checklist of things to do, and that one is on my checklist.

I think psychologists call that behavior superstitious behavior. But, what
harm does it do? So I'll keep doing it.
