And, yes I believe there is a valid reason for requiring the validator to
correct the author field.
As far as we can tell, the BookShare tools that create the DAISY and BRF
copies of a book are run between the validation and administrative option.
If the data wasn't correctly entered on the form, the places in the document
that BookShare puts that information will be incorrect. So, the information
needs to be correct before the files are generated. Thus, it gets kicked
back. Again, this is based on what little I've been able to discern about
the process.

As far as I can tell, this book which has spent a long time on step 1,
actually got validated except the validator needs to submit it separating
the authors' names by a comma. If somebody knows who the validator is
perhaps he or she can upload the corrected validated copy and stop the
need for somebody else to validate this gook yet again and again and
again.
