Right! And a spellchecker does not catch those things as die is a very ligimate word. So is torn for Tom.


Many scanning errors create other real words: linger for finger is one I recall.

I agree with you Jill.
I read through my validations and also books I scan....

I like to correct those 1 for I and die for The and diat for that and diis for this.

I like to take them out since its hard to read with them in it.
The Buck Stops here is an example of one that had lots of those type errors as well aas one of the main characters Tom which the mistake in the book scan called him torn.
Very frustrating.
