I sure hope one of you guys can help. You might need access to a university library. I need to check the copyright on The Heike Story by Eiji Yoshikawa, translated by Fuki Wooyenaka Utamatsu. The book says copyright 1956 by Alfred A. Knopf. I know some of the other old Japanese books were copyrighted by the publisher, so this may well be one, but I know Gustavo will question it. I am willing, and happy, to put in the work on this book to bring it up to snuff, but if I do and Gustavo rejects it because of a copyright question, I will ve very annoyed. It's really interesting, and a classic of Japanese literature. Sure wish I'd had access to this stuff, when I was taking East Asian Studies back in college. Thanks.
