Well again, Bert has done so many constellations about anorexia. For one
thing, anorexia is frequent in girls, while Asperger's is more frequent in
boys. The cause of either often appeared to be the same.
Bert' method in its original form is about healing those people whose pain
lands on the descendents, in order to free them all from this burden.
Therefore the child, whatever its symptoms are, may watch, but does not
need to be involved, because they are not the cause.
Statistics in different countries might be useful here. My theory would be,
that war torn countries or populations from war torn countries would have
higher incidents of both the above disturbances. and in other family
members there will be symptom bearers that are not seen, unless
investigated, as coming from the same source. Often there is a very serious
event in the background. So the child says to some older family members who
committed crimes and have not been able to feel deepest regret and to come
up with some postive actions, the child says in "blind" love and in blind
"penance": "I'll do it for you, " the child's soul knows something. So it
is at least usually, not the child's own issue, but one that the child
takes on for someone else.
Also a family of victims may find they have a child that behaves like a
ghastly perpetrator. This child will be seen as mentally ill, perhaps
asbergers or more comorbidities. So this child may well be representing a
perpetrator in a family who were against what happened or even victims.
this situation comes up in Jewish families. Bert had an amazing
constellation about that in south America, where the agressive man had a
lot of dreasm afterwards, and much healing happened for the whole family.
I also see another dimension there, Here I am looking from a german
perspective: Many post war children in Germany had fathers (and also some
mothers) who committed the worst possible crimes. Some managed to love such
a parent, regardless of everything. This is helfpful for the child because
then it leaves the matter with that parent or uncle or aunt or grandparent.
But others feel overwhelmed, and without a lot of help, they rather die
than accept this life, here also, "I am willing to pay the price for you".
Another dimension can be seen as mere conjecture, but some of those who
accept reincarnation, and even found some supporting evidence for it, may
resonate with it.
Take Germany as an example. A good percentage of Germans were Jews and were
murdered. We all know about Anne Frank. But how many Anne Franks and her
brothers might there be? I know many who exibit the symptoms of a victim of
war crimes. What if our fate puts us into a family in which someone had
been our killer or at least a helper? Would we find the will to live in
such a family, or would we wish to disappear from the earth?
And here again, a child in a family may exhibit very unpleasent and even
frightening traits. Then the family may need to turn to their past. If they
were victims or objectors, they may need to find peace with what happened.
I am only putting this in here, because even this situation can be healed
and needs to be healed.
The german skinheads demonstrate that. And instead of addressing the depth,
most people are very eager to distance themselves from them, but this does
not help.They themselves do not know what they are doing. They are
reminiscent of the unemployed in Germany after WW1 and the financial crash
in the US, those that Hitler could recruit so easily. Often they were
xpected to be the breadwinner in a family where the father died in the war.
They are mostly from disadvantaged background, these days even
disadvantaged in relation to illegal immigrants.
Most of those Nazi perpetrators were still nice parents and at least in
delusion that what they did helped their trampled country. it took perhaps
WW2 for humans to understand that "For my country" means murdering other
people's country is a concept we can no longer sustain. Now we begin to
understand that life cannot be compartmentalized without a big price .
What matters is the healing that follows the understanding, not the
analysis.
