Dear Anne and Coleagues:The field of studies about Transgender (Trans), is very
interesting. Not only because of the terapeuthical issues, but by the social
impact. In México where I work, Transgender people are having a very important
role in sexual human right politics, because they have been historically
rejected.
As a Constelator ans Sexologist, I think that is important to consider the
expressions or levels of trangender in the identity of the persons. Are not the
same feelings, Struggles and necesities of a Travestiste man, than a
trasgenderist, or a Transexual man or transexual woman
Travestiste and transgenderist people dont feel a dissapointment with their
pelvic sexual Organs, while Transexual people usually report that feel
dissapointing and report the desire of changing social , and chirurgically
their appareance.
In my work with Transexual people Usually don´t work by the origin of their
Trans feelings. Because the demand of the client is usually feel better with
their inner feelings and in these cases, I prefer work in the sense of
incrasing the resilence and strength of the clients and in order of taking
responsability and Dignity by the decision of living according to their inner
feelings more than the social expectatives.
Today is accepted that gender and sexual orientation are two different concepts
and a gay man and a lesbian woman don´t have problem with their gender
identity.
