Dear Barbara and Hunter,
Here are some of my related and similar thoughts.
Each representative in the constellation has a figure emerge internally
as sensation, image, etc. It means what it means in the time and space of
that particular constellation. If there are 5 reps there are 5 different
figures
to take into consideration. The useflulness of the 5 is unknown. One can now
interpret, recall simliar situations, or stay open to the unknown new. The
field and its members then experience a phenomenological swooping and
groundswelling gathering of a new whole or structure and understanding. This
answer is for
this occasion only and is best to not become a generaliztion of a similar
issue or movement. Turning around in a circle of course, will happen again but
its meaning can be totally different each time. For example, looking at the
floor does not always mean looking at a dead one. It can mean deep shame,
humiliation, or feeling intimidated, and even something still
unknown. So
being open to the opening situation seems most productive to me in the work.
"Thus was born the idea ofphenomenology ie., bracketing all positing of being
and investigating the subjectve modes of givenness." (Hans-Georg Gadamer in
Truth and Method.)
