In a certain way I agree with you, David. We should not be horrified with
the word murder when we terminate a life that is attempting to live.
Arent we putting an end on something that we dont even know where it
starts; the conscience. So why be shocked it is murder, isnt it.
However, terminating a life does not mean you terminate your life. And
that is the big difference. As it is in any constellation aspects or
situations presented. All can change somehow. See, all people who have
had abortions and had a constellation can be happy. I even had a client
at 44 who got pregnant and had a beautiful baby after her constellation on
3 miscarriages. And in this sense the word murder is different though
the same.
It seem very appropriate to me to use this word. I bow my head to
Hellinger. He isnt showing us something for nothing. There is something
there as you nicely put, David.

Perhaps all attempts to enword aspects of the field are at best
metaphorical...if that were so,then the verb"to murder' in English
translated from the German might possibly be metaphorically translated" to
use the word murder means that the field generated by one human person at
some stage of its potentail becoming real has been abruptly stopped with
the concommitant creation of other fields that are profoundly important
for us to allow ourselves to be aware of".
In this sense it allerts those hearing 'murder" to wake up,take notice and
to take heed that the matter is not simple but potentially unbelievably
profound in the akashic residues it leaves"
I was at one Bert workshop where a woman stated when asked how many
abortions she had had replied"7 or 8 not sure".

As Bert seems to use it it does not seem to me to be a condemnatory
judgement but rather a realistic awareness of the importance of the abrupt
ending through intentional cause of a state of being human and the
profound responsibility inherent in the destruction of potential creation
.That state as is true in all states of his work is ideally held in
compassion
.Here as always I sense the problem is the challenge if not impossibility
